In Honor And Memory Of The Man Of God
February 10, 1929 - June 10, 1996
The following is a memorial to our beloved Brother and Pastor, the great man of God, Reverend George Leon Pike Sr. What he
accomplished both spiritually and naturally in life is hard to be comprehended, and so is what he accomplished in death. Somebody
would find it hard to believe that a person could accomplish something in death, but the Lord Jesus Christ wrought salvation at
Calvary by dying for our sins and therefore brought us eternal life, for the Bible says, "Where a testament is, there must also
of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while
the testator liveth." If you have ever had the privilege to meet Rev. Pike or be influenced by his ministry you would understand
some of these things.
As the Apostle Paul was a man born out of season, being one who was caught up to the third heaven, Peter made the comment that Paul
said things that were hard to be understood. Paul was the one who comprehended the Revelation of Jesus Christ. But at that time, he
could not find ears to hear. That's why the Bible says he was born out of season. Even though Paul could not utter some of these
mysteries that God had shown him, he did plant enough seed to begin the church ages, knowing that one day, from that seed it would
grow into a mighty tree, and when the time was right, a man would come on the scene with the same spirit and bring about the finishing
of the mysteries concerning godliness and the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
We believe with all our hearts that this man was Rev. George L. Pike. God who is no respect of persons, raised up Rev. Pike, and
like Paul, took him into the third heaven to show him those same things that Paul could not utter in his day. So in life, Rev. Pike
proclaimed the mysteries of God. That great trumpet sounded, and the revelation went forth throughout the world. Those that heard the
message and were predestined unto eternal life heard the call of the bridegroom and came to the wedding.
So a great and mighty thing has taken place. Rev. Pike by faith established the spiritual kingdom. He brought the Lord Jesus Christ
out of the veil, and through the many years of travail in the ministry, the child has been born and is caught up to rule with a rod of
iron. When Jesus fulfilled the law of Moses, He established a whole new set of laws: the spiritual laws. For example, adultery was not
just in the "act", but in thought as well. The law transformed into another dimension. In order to bring about the
completion of what God was doing in the earth, there had to be a man raised up to fulfill those spiritual laws. This man was Rev.
Pike. Through the great and mighty mind of Christ, The Revelation of Jesus Christ came forth. This is the coming of the Lord, and now
God has been manifested once again. He has been birthed by the faith of Jesus Christ. And now the kingdoms of this world are become
the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ as the child grows and moves through the land.
