All Things Are Yours

The apostle Paul said, "All things belong unto you," whether life, death, things present or things to come, you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God. We are carefully instructed by God through the teachings of His Word, to acknowledge death as the enemy of God, and all things that pertain unto death is to be accredited to Satan who instigated it in the garden of Eden. Satan is the origin of death and all that pertains unto death. Our faith, we are told, is a shield against the powers of the enemy. "Behold! I give unto you power over all the powers of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

What is this miraculous power that we possess, which is able to defeat the greatest power in all the world aside from God? Beloved, it is simple faith. The Bible says taking the shield of faith that we might be able to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. Let's use the word "all" to emphasize the power of faith. We know the word all as being a uniform manner of speech that covers everything. How does the word all affect us as we read in God's Word? Let me call to your remembrance a few Scriptures in the Bible. We are told by Christ, Himself, that we have all power over the enemy. We are told that our faith will quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. God tells us in His Word that He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. David of old said, "I sought the Lord and He delivered me from all my fears." We are told in the Old Testament that He is the God that forgives all our iniquities and heals all of our diseases. We are also told in His Word that all that comes to Him, He shall in no wise cast out or turn away. We also remember that Peter said, "He has given us all things that pertain unto life." Therefore, let me add, beloved, that we should cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
