The Serpent and the Bear

(February 2, 1978)

I had a vision where I saw a great, white bear, which no doubt had to do with Russia which is cold country. Alaska, where the great, white bear is, one time belonged to Russia. We bought it from Russia. When you talk about Russia, you're not talking about the little brown bear that loves honey!

It's like my son, George Jr., said. He went up into Alaska and he couldn't hardly believe it. He said, "Daddy, it's unbelievable just to see the footprints of that huge monster."

Now, the great bear, the great powers of the bear, I saw in a vision, and I saw a great serpent that was coiled up, laying right there, and I saw shadows. I saw darkness coming over the earth. I saw the vision so clearly. There was no mistake about it; it wasn't vague, it was very plain.

I saw the shadows back here and the sunlight over here, and I saw the shadows moving at a steady pace. I saw two hunters in the shadows moving with the shadows, and I looked beyond the shadows and I saw the great white polar bear sitting there. I saw the great snake in its coil sitting right near the polar bear, and as far as I can tell, the snake wouldn't so much as bat an eye, as we say, as far as flinching. He sat right there, looking at the bear, knowing that he was going to strike that bear just as soon as the shadows hit that bear, but he wasn't going to do it until the shadows hit. He sat there ready, not even as much as flinching from his purpose. Those two hunters knew he was going to do it, and they were walking hurriedly, trying to get there before the shadows got there, but the shadows stayed right along with the two hunters. They couldn't out-walk the shadows. It kept staying right out in front of them.

At the same time, I looked and I had my little family. I had my children, and something said to me, "You better do something, because when that snake strikes that bear, he is going wild, and there won't be any safety anywhere." Then I asked, "What can I do?" There was a mantel over a fireplace, and the voice said, "Take your children and put them up on top of this mantel." So, I did. I put all my children up on top of the mantel.

Now, you know what the mantle means in the Bible. The mantle came back from Elijah to Elisha. God using natural things to show us. God a consuming fire; the mantel over it. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Now, when I got them up there, just about that time, the shadows struck the polar bear, and when they did, just as swift as lightning, the snake hit the polar bear. As the snake hit, the fangs and the poison went in that polar bear and that big huge monster went crazy. He went wild. There wasn't any safety anywhere around. It was so powerful and so swift, being a bear.

For a long time, I couldn't understand what it meant. But not too long ago just outside of Atlanta, Georgia there was a great big billboard, and on it they put a cobra up there saying, "Don't tread on me," and do you know, the navy of the United States also has that symbol. Don't tread on me! China is the dragon nation, and remember, the dragon and the serpent are always considered one. The Bible speaks of the old serpent, the devil, and he's the dragon, so they are considered one. When China came over here to America, I made the statement, "You just watch and see. Russia will consider that a double cross." Jimmy Carter is working a scheme, and already, Russia's upset about it. As a matter of fact, the newspapers carried the headline not too long ago (I can't remember exactly how it said it) concerning Russia, and it said: "Russia, a threat to our peace."

Now, here is the power of China saying, "We can do it! We're not afraid of the bear!" Let me tell you, when that poison went into that bear, nobody could do anything with that bear. I believe what the Bible said where it speaks that he'll come out of the north in a rage. Watch the king of the north. I believe with all my heart that China will cause the trouble. I said that years ago. I said, "You keep your eyes on China, and someday, China will cause the trouble," and China's going to do it. China is the one nation that doesn't have any reasoning whatsoever about them when they want to do something. They just up and do it. I don't mean that they aren't intelligent people, but they are so pressed, with so many people, until it has been said that they have instigated mass murder in their own country at times to get rid of some of the people because they don't have any food to feed them and any place for them to live. I have been told that it has gotten so bad at this point that you have to have permission to have a child in China.
